Does anyone know of a good midi editor that will work in XP? I need it for modefying the key and tempo of some midis for a certain *nameless* DF project I'm working on No DOS programs allowed.
Bonus points if it's free. More bonus points if an idiot (me) can use it without much trouble.
Thanks!

Even though I'm a Mac man, I'm also in the professional market. I've heard Anvil Studio works well.
However I don't now firsthand how well it works so. . . please don't yell at me if it does. And by the way it's free.

The only one I've had experience with is called Cakewalk Pro Audio... If I remember though, it's expensive...

Cakewalk is an awesome program, I used it at school a bit, but yeah, it's pretty expensive, thus it's not really an option for what I want.
I'll try anvil studio. Maybe it works.
I just realized a rather funny irony: most of the music in this will not be GMID/MIDI...
Edit: irony

Evolution audio lite Adam.
I have a link here:
http://www.iol.ie/~wbrien/setup.exe
During installation, if it asks you to insert disk 2, ignore it, installation is already complete.
