Apparantly it crashes some systems. I may have to release a new version that fixes some bugs. Please let me know if it crashes on your system.

Yah, it isn't just on GS' computer... I had to restart mine completely when trying to run the level.
Well, anyway, I'm very intrigued by the plot (which is always a plus).

Try removing carpet.3do, and redoing the objects. It should help, but I can't fathom why it crashes when I punch.
It's a nice little level, but some more variation in textures would be good. I really like the sky texture though.

Sounds like I should re-do it, eh?
GS, I know it's not reall an excuse, but deliberately used the same texrures for all the buildings, as it confuses the player, and it's how I imagined Anchor Hed would look.
Ah hell, it's only a mini level.

I liked this too. My own Tuskens still give me the creeps. Did I ever mention that the sound of them dying is sampled from a donkey heard on Beck's album Odelay?
Also I liked the sky texture's clever wraparound, so that the two suns are always on the same side of the buildings. It's a fun little thing.
This level also crashed on my Mac until I changed it according to Geoffrey's instructions.

I'll re do the level soon.
Yeah those tuskens are great Patrick, much better than my feeble attempts.
I never noticed that the the sample was off jackass. Very cool. Odelay's great.

Not as good as Mellow Gold though.

True, but I reckon One Foot in the Grave is his best album, very hard to come by though.

Do you at least have different lighting levels on each surface of the same texture?

Probably not, maybe I should have.

This is quite possibly the best "Mini, Mini level". Although very short, it is rather convincing as the small "hamlet" of Anchor Hed. Although there isn't anything absolutely spectacular in this level (otherwise it would be a showcase!), it provides a couple of minutes of decent gameplay, and it looks fairly nice. I especially liked the technique to give the illusion of a distant horizon.

I think I may release version 3 soon. It'll be slightly larger, feature better textures and some nicer buildings, but essentially it'll be the same deal.
