Hey.
I'm trying to recreate a similar effect to Barry's shop concept on AoNS where VUEs move a certain object to make it like you bought it. I'm not doing a shop but I just want to move a custom rock FME to a certain spot. I'm having troube with it (but not surprising as this is my first time writing VUEs). Here is the code in the VUE if you need it:
| Code: | transform "" 1.00000 0.00000 -0.00000 0.00000 1.00000 0.00000 0.00000 -0.00000 1.00000 276.00000 67.00000 0.00000
transform "" 1.00000 0.00000 -0.00000 0.00000 1.00000 0.00000 0.00000 -0.00000 1.00000 297.00000 52.00000 0.00000 |
I have the following for the object sequence:
| Code: | LOGIC: KEY
VUE: rock2.VUE "rock"
PAUSE: TRUE |
The object (a custom rock FME in this case) should go from x:276 z:67 to x:297 z:52 when I "wakeup" (messege: 1 rock2 wakeup) the sector but it isn't working. Is my code wrong or can you not do it for custom FMEs?

Have you set that section of the VUE to be designated for the object "rock"? That's all I can think of, at least right now.

What do you mean? Probably not as I do not know what you are talking about
[edit]
About 30 sec after posting last, I looked at other VUEs from other levels and found that they had a name in between the "" in the VUE file. I changed it to "rock" in my VUE and it worked perfectly... Told you I was new to VUEs

[another edit]
Thanks nottheking for for mentioning that to me... after the fact that I already found it
J/K BTW... don't hurt me

Post the entire VUE file, and I'll take a look; each VUE file can be used to move mutliple objects simultaneously, and each object's section specifies what it will refer to each said object. (This should correspond to the "rock" tag attached to the end of the "VUE:" line for the object)
