Greetings, webmasters,

I have today requested a project page on DF-21 for my new DF project in progress - I filled up the form provided on the request page, but the server always responded with a "Mail not sent - SMTP error".
I guess there is something wrong - can you please help me?

In case it's easier for you that way, I already have a complete HTML project page ready which I can send to you if you want to upload it personally, however it will be difficult to make updates that way.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the heads up, this is due to me not re-enabling a form-email script after the recent spam-related outage.

Should be re-enabled shortly, but if you email Scapey the data you would have sent via the form, he'll probably be happy to do the rest.

top one, nice one, get sorted!

I did E-mail Scapey, however I got a typically charming reply:

Technical details of failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 10): 550 5.1.1 <scapegoat@df-21.net>... User unknown

So - in other words - I am kind of stuck.

OK, the private message is sent, so I guess it's all in your hands now.

I'd have an indignant response, but I just can't be bothered...

Thanks to whoever corrected the mission title on the DF-21 home page.

I was also wondering what a "Lave" Planet is. Laughing

If there are any Methusalems here who still remember the super-old and super-legendary game Elite for Acorn BBC and a few other computers from the middle 80's (I am proudly one of them), the story in that game began on the Lave Planet, in the Lave System. It was a space adventure, much ahead of its time.
I don't know whether Scape Goat's spelling error was influenced by Elite, but this is just a little encyclopaedic detail.

But still, rather a Lave Planet than a Love Planet - something with such a title would really not fit the Dark Forces world. (The Crow crashes on an uncharted planet, and Jan and Kyle are stranded on a small tropic paradise island with crystally blue sea and friendly natives who bring them fruits... blah blah blah)

To be honest, the only thing that bugged me is that it used two diferent names. Had all the name been the same, I wouldn't have really notices what the name was.

It still beats a Lube Planet.
It sounds really cool though, and I look forward to screens.

Love Planet? Hmmmmmm... that could be a Valentine's Day-inspired weapon patch, perhaps -- Imperial Cupids shooting heart-shaped bolts.

Hmmmmmmmm!

Well, I've added one more update on the project page, and will see to post some screenshots on the next one (in a few days). Don't expect something too spectacular on the other hand, as the whole level still needs a lot of refinement.
